To assure the victory in the Telugu speaking states, BJP may make Swami Paripoornananda, head of Sree Peetham mutt as a leading face in South.

This comes after the joining of the Swami ji in BJP on Friday in the presence of party president Amit Shah. The sudden entry of Swami ji reflects the strategy to assure victory in the coming elections. The head of Sree Peetham Mutt might emerge as a key face of the BJP in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh

As per the information received, Swami will play a crucial role and may participate in elections in Telangana state either in the state polls or in the 2019 general election.

Swami ji was welcomed by the saffron party charioteer and  BJP general secretary Ram Madhav

Swami ji said “I am happy to be part of this party…I am grateful to BJP president Amit Shah and Ram Madhav ji. I will follow them and work,”

“I will work 24*7. I need nothing because Telugu people have given me a lot. I come here as a karmachari (worker) and will remain a karmayogi (one who desires nothing for his work),” after joining the party at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi.

Saffron Party President shared his happiness and called the day of joining as a day of joy for BJP. He recalled the works done by the Swami in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and all the southern states in the fields of social work, religion and public awakening. He even said that BJP is blessed to have him in the party.

Mr Shah even shared about the benefit which party would gain after the joining of the Swami. He ensured that Swami ji would attract votes in the south and his presence would energise the party in the Telangana elections.

Swami Paripoornananda-“Yogi Adityanath of the south”, has been influencing supporter of BJP and had written a book named- “Third Eye” on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Swami was banned from Hyderabad for six months in July for making provocative statements but later was suspended by Hyderabad High Court in August.

The Telangana state would face election on December 7.
