The month of July is witnessing the release of many entry level devices from local manufacturers. Xolo has also joined the race and has launched another entry level smartphone Era 1X Pro. The main boasted feature of the device is its low price. The device will sell at the price tag of Rs. 5,888. Earlier, we saw Era 3 on GeekBench listings. This shows that the company is manufacturing some new devices too. Xolo is a subsidiary of Lava Mobiles which is the largest local manufacturer in India. Xolo is also one of those companies that had produced Android devices with Intel powered processors.

This Xolo Era 1X Pro is an upgraded version of Xolo Era 1X. The company released that 1X in September 2016. The detailed specifications of the device show that it is a mid ranger with good specs. Xolo Era 1X has a 5.00 Inch HD display with a resolution of 1280X720 pixels. Inside the body, there is 1.5GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM for better processing. The Pro version of Era 1X has 16GB of internal storage with a Micro SD card slot to expand it up to 32GB. The device will run on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with Xolo’s own UI at the top.

The optics side is also very good because the device has LED flash lights both with rear and front cameras. There is an 8MP primary camera with many smart features like beauty mode, time lapse videos, and live photos. Whereas, the front camera has a 5MP sensor and also a LED flash for low light photography. The device is packed with a 2500mAh battery that can last for a day on a single charge.

There are a lot of connectivity options on the device. This Xolo 1X Pro supports dual SIM. The device also supports 4G VoLTE connectivity option. Other options include WIFI 802.11, Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5mm Audio Jack, FM Radio, and USB port.

The sensors in the device include an accelerometer, proximity, and ambient light. All these specifications show that it is much upgraded than Xolo Era 1X. There is a little difference in price between these two devices. The Xolo Era 1X has a price tag of Rs. 4,999 and the 1X Pro has a price tag of Rs. 5,888. This device will start selling today at 12 PM IST.
