Xiaomi fans have received good news about the availability of 3GB RAM variant of Redmi 5A. The Xiaomi Redmi 5A will sell through offline stores at the price of Rs 7,499. The same device will sell at the price of Rs 6,999 at Mi home and other online stores. The company says that the difference of Rs 500 in offline and online price is at the discretion of the retailer. Here, it is important to mention that the 2GB RAM variant of Xiaomi Redmi 5A is already selling at Rs 4,999. This includes Rs 1000 introductory discount on the original price of Rs 5,999.

Xiaomi Redmi 5A is “Desh ka smartphone” due to this low price. Xiaomi is competing with Nokia, Panasonic, Vivo, and OPPO in entry-level smartphones. Xiaomi Redmi 5A features a 5-inch HD display with 720X1280 pixels resolution. There are two variants of the device the 2GB RAM and the 3GB RAM. The onboard storage in both the variants is 32GB. The users can expand the storage up to 128GB through a Micro SD Card slot. Here, it is noteworthy that Xiaomi Redmi 5A comes with two nano SIM slots and runs Android Nougat based on MIUI 9.

Under the hood, there is 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor. The Xiaomi Redmi 5A boasts a 13MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, and LED flash. The front camera of the device is 5MP with f/2.0 aperture. There is also 3000mAh battery that can last for one day on a single recharge. The device has a lot of connectivity options that include dual SIM, WIFI, Bluetooth, 3.5mm Headphone jack, and charging port.

The company launched the Xiaomi Redmi 5A as exclusive to Flipkart. The first five million units of the device will be available at the discounted price.
