On Friday, Amit Shah addressed a poll meeting after launching a campaign in Bundelkhand on the second day of his city tour. Amidst his visit to the city, BJP President Amit Shah appealed the voters to choose two leaders- one in 2018 and the other in 2019. Amit Shah asked the voters to choose BJP leader Shivraj Singh as the Chief Minister in the year 2018 and Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister in the year 2019.
Shah asked people to vote for BJP candidates in the poll meetings held at Sagar, Tikamgarh and Damoh district. BJP chief targetted the opposition Congress and accused the party of the poor development in the state. He also asked people to study the history of Congress party till 2014, when they were ruling 19 states that are more than 70% of the entire country.
According to our news sources, Amit Shah in Tikamgarh made a mythological reference regarding the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh. He said that Shivraj and Modi are the double engines of a train. Earlier, the cart was pulled by CM Chouhan solely. But, now Modi is pulling towards the road to development.
Amit Shah also said that Congress bothered only for its vote bank and its rule over 70 years. But, BJP government considers security more precious than their own lives.
Amit Shah shows his anger towards Congress and says, during PM Manmohan Singh regime, Pakistani terrorists exploded bombs and flee. But after Uri attack in 2016, 18 soldiers were killed and there was anger across the country. BJP rule of PM Modi ordered to avenge the attack and conducted the surgical strike.
The basic difference between the two parties is that one has taken birth in Nehru Gandhi family while the leaders of the BJP government have taken birth from the ground, said Shah.
Giving examples of the leaders of the BJP government Shah said, Narendra Modi who was born in a tea seller family is now the PM of the country. Shivraj who was born in a very poor family is now the Chief Minister.
