The death news of iconic actor Shashi Kapoor shocked the whole Indians yesterday. Shashi Kapoor has died at the age of 79. He was suffering from kidney disease and was on dialysis for the last few months. He died at 05:20 PM in Kokilaben Hospital Mumbai. The executive director of the hospital confirmed the news of his death. Later, his nephew Randhir Kapoor also told IANS about the death of his uncle.

Celebrities from all walks of life have tweeted mourning messages on his death. At the top are the co-actors, modern actors, and cricket stars. The death of Shashi Kapoor has produced such a gap in the Indian film industry that could never be filled up. Tweeting on his death, his co-actress Simi Garewal says that the last icon of Kapoor generation has gone. She also says that a gentleman and a great friend have gone. In the end, she says that an era has gone leaving films and some precious moments.

One of the favorite film critics Taran Adarsh says that an era has come to an end because Shashi Kapoor is no more. He also consoled the family with prayers for the departed soul. Film actor Ajay Devgan says that they will never forget Shashi Kapoor. Sanjay Dutt has also tweeted that his contributions to the Indian film industry will always be remembered. In short, we can say that all are remembering this great actor with love and great respect.

Here, it is important to mention that Shashi Kapoor was the youngest son of Prithviraj Kapoor and younger brother of Late Raj Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor. He was not only a passionate actor and filmmaker but was also a kind and generous human being.
