In the era where acclaimed institutions are taking each precaution to ensure that the exams are conducted in the most ethical way possible, yet the misconduct during an exam still prevails. Given that there were voice recorders, CCTV camera as well as static magistrates who were brought together to ensure that the exams are taking place in the best possible way, yet the college faculty seized 84 students for possessing cheating materials.

At the same time, the flying squad apprehended 30 other people who had impersonated the students to pass in the exams in the four distinctive Agra division districts. Nevertheless, when the authority of the UP Board compared the people conducting malpractice during examinations in the previous year with the 2019 board exams, they concluded that there had been a significant reduction. In the last year, around 243 students were reportedly caught with cheating materials whereas the flying squad apprehended 37 impersonators.

In 2019, around 52 students have been recorded to utilize unfair practices in the district of Mathura, based on the details provided by the secondary education department records. The education department also revealed that 13 students in Agra and 11 students in Mainpuri were also caught due to breaking the regulation of the examinations. The examination board apprehended around seven students in Firozabad, and they were accused of cheating. From the 84 students who were possessing cheating material, 19 girls and 65 boys were caught due to misconduct.

Back in the board exams of 2018, from 243 students in Mathura, the exam board caught 180 students who were misconducting in the board examination. In the same year, 37 impersonating candidates were taken into custody by the police in Agra division; the police apprehended 22 fake candidates. In 2018, out of 22 impersonators, the maximum number of impersonators were apprehended in the district of Mathura whereas five fake candidates were caught in Firozabad & in Agra, four fake candidates were reported to the board and then to the police.

Arvind Kumar Pandey, the Joint Director of Education in Agra division said that, when the board exams are conducted, numerous students are caught cheating. And the fake candidates have been caught off the board’s flying squad. The board registers cases against these impersonators. And the details of the candidates who are found to be cheating during the board exam are going to be forwarded to the governing body of the board.

As far as the UP board result is concerned, it is estimated that Board of controller of examinations is going to evaluate around 3.20 crore UP Board answer sheets which will be from 8th of March 2019. About 1.25 lakh teachers are going to evaluate the answer sheets across Uttar Pradesh. According to the sources, the board is willing to release the result of the UP board exam by the third week of April. In the year 2018, the Uttar Pradesh board issued the result for both intermediate classes and Matriculation on 29th of April.

This year 58 lakh students have registered to attend the board examinations. By the looks of it, 6 lakh students did not appear for the UP board examinations.
