What was the storyline of the film?
Evil Emperor Palpatine revives a threat of revenge. Kylo Ren discovered a Sith Wayfinder, which led to a planet Exegol. It was discovered that Evil Emperor Palpatine did not die at the hands of Darth Vader. All raced against the clock to find the whereabouts of the Emperor. Kylo, with Rey, discovers a force bond to find her location. The entire group travels to Kijmi, where the droidsmith takes away the sith text C-3PO’s memory, which reveals the Wayfinder coordinates. Rey senses that Chewbacca is alive, and the group was on a rescue mission to Kylo’s Star Destroyer. While Rey was recovering the dagger, she had a vision that Ochi was killing her parents with the same dagger. Rey recovers the Wayfinder from the remains of the Second Death Star, but unfortunately, Kylo finds her and destroys her, and duels her. Meanwhile, Finn and Poe led the Resistance to put a stop to the New Empire plan. The Resistance orders Finn and Poe to attack Palpatine’s Armada.
The story ends with the group defeating Palpatine, Ben trying to save Rey with all his force, sacrificing his own life. Rey kisses Ben before he and Leia unite as one in exposure to the force. The Resistance returns to celebrate. Rey visits the abandoned child Tatooine.
