According to our recent resources, a closed-door meeting was organized between former J&K deputy chief minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Nirmal Singh in the presence of Narendra Modi in New Delhi at 4 pm on Wednesday. The discussion was all about the formation of BJP-led government in the state and how their upcoming government can improve the situations in Jammu and Kashmir. This meeting was organized after a lengthy meeting that took place earlier in the day between BJP’s J&K in charge and party secretary Ram Madhav.

It seems as if an understanding has been established between the PDP and BJP and a big announcement regarding the same can be heard anytime after the Amarnath Yatra, said our sources.

Even the high-profile political traffic that is somewhat frequent between New Delhi and Srinagar since past few weeks gives a clear hint that something is cooking between the two. Regarding this, a picture of Madhav was recently been seen on Twitter accompanied by senior party leaders at the house of People’s Conference chief Sajjad Lone. Apart from this Lone was further rumoured to be a part of a closed-door meeting with PM Modi. Not only this, Union home minister Rajnath Singh with home secretary Rajiv Gauba and National Security Adviser Ajit Doval visited Srinagar for two days on 4th of this month.

BJP at the time has full support from the PDP rebels in the formation of government in Jammu and Kashmir. Regarding this one of the PDP MLAs Abid Ansari has told our news sources that they will provide complete support to the Bharatiya Janata Party and even said that the PDP is in need of a change in the leadership which will result in Mehbooba being removed from the power.

“The question is about numbers. We believe that there are well over a dozen MLAs with us right now. If Mehboobaji wants to save the party, she should step out of the leadership role and hand it over to someone responsible. Otherwise, we will go our separate way,” Abid Ansari said.

On being questioned by the reporters regarding support to BJP, Ansari said that they will surely do as they have a number of MLAs with them as of now and there is not even a single reason amongst the party members to not to form the government with BJP.
