As per the recent reports, the list of Kotak Wealth Hurun-Leading Wealthy Women 2018 has Smitha V. Crishna on the first position with an estimated wealth of ₹ 37,570 crore. Smitha V. Crishna is a third-generation heir of the Godrej family owns one-fifth of the Godrej Group. The lady gained popularity in 2014 after purchasing a bungalow for ₹ 371 crore that belonged to Dr. Homi J. Bhabha.

Second in the list is CEO and executive director at HCL, Roshni Nadar with an estimated wealth of ₹30,200 crore. Ms. Roshni is the daughter of Shiv Nadar who founded IT behemoth and she is also said to manage the Shiv Nadar Foundation.

“The women in the Hurun India Rich List have increased from 4% in 2012 to 9% in 2017. With India’s thriving consumer spending and a maturing tech ecosystem, we expect more women to lead the entrepreneurship story in India,” said Anas Rahman Junaid, MD and chief researcher, Hurun Report India.

The third position holder in the list is the chairperson of the Times Group, Indu Jain. Her wealth is estimated at ₹26,240 crore.

Founder and MD of Biocon, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw is on the fourth position in this list with an estimated wealth of ₹24,790 crore. She started Biocon in 1978 and has led the biopharmaceutical company in the field of complex APIs and molecular biology.

With a total wealth of ₹20,120 crore, Kiran Nadar, wife of HCL founder Shiv Nadar, ranks fifth in the list.

The chairperson of USV Pharma, Leena Gandhi Tewari, ranks sixth with an estimated wealth of ₹10,730 crore. USV Pharma is a manufacturer of a pioneer in diabetic and cardiovascular medicines in India.

With ₹10,450 crore as the total wealth, Sangita Jindal ranks seventh in the list.

Jayshree Ullal, CEO of the cloud-networking company Arista Networks ranks eight in the list with her wealth estimated at ₹ 9,490 crore. She is said to be born in London and her company Arista Networks is worth $19 billion at present.

Former chairperson of Thermax, Anu Aga, is stable at the ninth position with an estimated wealth of ₹8,550 crore. As per the sources, the lady after the death of her husband took over the reins of the company.

The co-founder of Outcome Health, a healthcare technology and services company, Shradha Agarwal ranks tenth in the list with ₹ 8,200 crore.
