Galaxy Note 8 is the first Samsung device to receive November Security Patch. The firmware version N950FXXU1BQK6 will hit the Galaxy Note 8 units in the form of OTA. However, if the users cannot wait for an update notification, they can check it manually through settings, about phone, and software update menu.

The company says that the update package will fix many errors including Samsung Dex error. It will also bring improvements in various apps like gallery, calendar, reminder, and voice recorder. Chinese, T-Mobile, and AT&T versions of Note 8 have already received this update, with the latest security patch, earlier this month. Here, it is quite pertinent to mention that Galaxy Note 8 is the most powerful device in the market with many advanced features.

The company had released this 6.3-inch sleek device back in August. It features a Super AMOLED Full View Display with QHD+ resolution. Inside the body, there is either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC or Samsung Exynos 8895 coupled with 6GB of RAM. The device has 12 MP dual cameras at the back showing it much better than Galaxy S8 and S8+. There is also S-Pen Stylus which is a specialty of Galaxy Note series. The device ships with Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.

This new update will further enhance the device’s security. It would also provide the users with an entirely new experience of using Samsung Custom UI at the top of Android. The company advises the users to install the update soon after it reached their devices.
