The relationship between the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister of Delhi has been always stinging but settling aside all the issues, Mr. Narendra Modi wished Mr. Kejriwal on his birthday.

The Chief Minister of Delhi has even received birthday wishes from West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee, Omar Abdullah and many more.

The Prime Minister tweeted”Birthday greetings to Delhi CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal Ji. May he lead a long and healthy life,”. The Delhi CM tweeted “Thank you so much, sir.”

Delhi CM, Arvind Kejriwal was born on born 16 August 1968 and became Chief Minister of Delhi for the first time in 2013. In Delhi Legislative Assembly elections of 2013 which had  70 seats, saw the change of govt. The Bhartiya Janta Party occupied 31 seats, followed by Aam Aadmi Party with 28 seats. The AAP Chief Minister secured the confidence of eight INC MLAs, one independent MLA, and one Janata Dal MLA and became second-youngest chief minister of Delhi on 28 December 2013.

The first time Chief Minister Kejriwal handled the post for only 49 days. On 14 February 2015, Kejriwal resigned the post and called for the dissolution of the Assembly after failing to table the Jan Lokpal Bill in the Delhi Assembly. He accused Bhartiya Janta Party and Indian National Congress for delaying the anti-corruption legislation. Later In April 2014 he regretted his action of resignation and said that he would have explained public behind the step.

The election held in 2015 gifted back the chair to the Kejriwal and he won 67 constituencies out of 70.

The Chief Minister had graduated from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and was employed in the Indian Revenue Service as a Joint Commission of the Income-tax. The former Bureaucrat had grabbed the post as 7th Chief Minister of Delhi.

The Present Chief Minister had been named in the charge sheet filed by Delhi Police for assaulting Anshu Prakash, Chief Secretary of Delhi.
