In order to attend the 13th East Asia Summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will leave for Singapore today. Besides attending the 13th East Asia Summit in Singapore, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also participate in Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) that will be organized in the country. PM Modi will also attend other such meetings of the ASEAN Summit during his trip to the country, said reports.
At the FinTech Conference, PM Modi will deliver a keynote address. FinTech Conference is said to be a part of the 3rd Singapore FinTech Festival. And it is a great honour for India, as it is the first time that a country head has been invited to present a keynote address at Fintech.
During his visit to Singapore, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also launch a digital platform that will combine financial institutions of ASEAN on one platform, reported Secretary East, Ministry of External Affairs, Vijay Thakur Singh in a press conference in New Delhi last evening.
As per the reports by our news sources, more than 40 thousand people are said to participate in the Fintech Festival which is the 3rd Singapore FinTech Festival. Amidst the FinTech Festival in Singapore, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet and greet the India Singapore Hackathon contestants, added sources.
Besides this, Prime Minister in Singapore will also be present at the second RCEP meeting. In the meeting which will be held in Singapore, 16 participating nation heads will discuss ways to strengthen economic relations.
On the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also make his presence in the 15th ASEAN- India breakfast summit and East Asia lunch retreat. In these summits, the progress made so far in regional and global spheres will be reviewed by the leaders of the country.
Prime Minister is also scheduled to hold several bilateral meetings including one with US Vice President Mike Pence.
