Lucknow: From today Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on his two-day tour to eastern Uttar Pradesh. On his two days visit to the state PM Modi will visit parliamentary constituency Varanasi and will also lay the foundation stone for the 340-km Purvanchal Expressway in Azamgarh, said our news sources.
It has been heard that this Purvanchal Expressway will provide a good connectivity to some of the known and important towns of eastern Uttar Pradesh, including Azamgarh, Mau, Ghazipur, Barabanki, Amethi, Sultanpur, Faizabad and Ambedkar Nagar.
“Once this Expressway is complete, Delhi will be connected via the expressway to several major towns and cities of Uttar Pradesh from Noida in the west to Ghazipur in the east,” the PMO mentioned in a tweet.
Besides laying the foundation of Purvanchal Expressway various other development projects will also be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Our sources say that Modi on his second visit to the state in a week will also address some rallies in Varanasi, Azamgarh, and Mirzapur during his 2 days tour. PM Modi has decided to pay a visit to the state after the launch of the Samsung mobile phone factory with South Korean president Moon Jae-in in Noida, on Monday.
As per our news sources, PM Modi regarding the development of Varanasi will dedicate projects that are estimated to be worth over Rs 900 crore. These dedicated development projects will include Varanasi City Gas Distribution Project and the Varanasi-Ballia EMU train. Apart from this the foundation stone for several other projects regarding Smart city mission and Namaami Gange will also be laid by PM Modi. Foundation stone for an International Convention Centre will be laid by The Prime Minister in Varanasi, our sources added. Parallelly Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in the presence of PM Narendra Modi will release a book titled “Meri Kashi”.
It has also been heard that the PM on July 15th will visit Mirzapur in order to dedicate the Bansagar Canal Project to the nation. Bansagar Canal Project will not only provide a bump to the irrigation facilities in the region but will be of great benefit for the farmers of Mirzapur and Allahabad districts of Uttar Pradesh.
Besides this, the inauguration of 108 Jan Aushadhi Kendras in the State and foundation stone of the Mirzapur Medical College will also be led by PM Modi. And last but not the least PM Modi will also dedicate a bridge over the River Ganga at Balughat, Chunar in order to provide a good connectivity between Mirzapur and Varanasi.
