Hyderabad: The state Telangana is due for Assembly elections on 7th of December. Regarding the Assembly polls that will soon hit the state, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address three public meetings.

As per the recent sources, the first public meeting out of the three will take place in the next couple of weeks. And there has been news that the state leaders of BJP want PM Modi to address at least four public meetings in the state.

As of now, Bhartiya Janta Party has organized two public meetings that have been hosted by party president Amit Shah. But there has been a demand of more such meetings from the state leaders of BJP. On the other hand, senior leaders and other Union ministers have also been invited by the state party leadership to hold meetings to attract the public.

“We are trying to organise at least four public meetings of the Prime Minister and we have got clearance for three. We are very confident that Mr Modi’s tour will change the political picture. We will also organise public meetings of Mr Shah separately,” BJP state president Dr K. Laxman said.

Our news sources have reported that BJP has announced a list of 66 candidates. And the newly-formed Yuva Telangana Party has joined hands with the BJP. Apart from this, the seat adjustment talks are also going on between the party members.

Yuva Telangana Party president Jitta Balakrishna Reddy interacted the media reporters and informed that as the party is new so it needs the support of a strong national party. Reddy further briefed that the moto of Yuva Telangana Party is to provide the betterment of women and youth and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is already working for these sections.

Dr Laxman said that the Bhartiya Janta Party was being seen as the only alternative to the TRS.
