Panasonic has added another device to its Eluga lineup on Wednesday. The company has launched a mid ranger Eluga I2. There are two variants of this device that will sell in the Indian market. One variant has 1GB of RAM while the other has 2GB of RAM. There is a little price difference in both these devices. The company has announced a price of Rs. 7190 for the 1GB RAM variant while the 2GB RAM variant will sell at Rs. 7990. This price tag also shows that both the devices are the medium range. The color options for both these devices include Rose Gold, Gold, and Grey.
The detailed specifications of the device show that it has 5 –inch HD IPS display with 1280X720 pixels resolution. There is no protective covering on display. The device comes with 1.25GHz MediaTek MT 6737 processor on board. As stated above, there are two different RAM options in this device. One variant has 1GB RAM and the other has 2GB RAM. The smartphone comes running Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The onboard storage for the both variants is 16GB. There is also a slot for Micro SD Card to expand the storage up to 128GB.
The photography functions include an 8MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, the device has a 5MP sensor. This also shows that the device is a medium range and fulfills the basic camera needs of the consumers. Commenting on the launch, the Business Head of Mobility Division India says that the company has targeted the users who wish to have stylish, camera specific devices.
There are a lot of connectivity options included in this device. These are 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, WIFI 802.11 b/g/n, GPS with A-GPS, and a micro USB 2.0 port. The sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light, and proximity. The device also supports Dual SIM. There is a 2200mAh LI-ion battery which can last for one day on a single charge. The dimensions of the device are 143X71.2X7.95mm and it weighs about 133 grams. This shows that the smartphone is also slim and light weight.
