The Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar will celebrate Diwali in Goa.

The information about the Chief Minister who is being treated for advanced pancreatic cancer in a Delhi hospital was shared by BJP MLA Rajesh Patnekar on Tuesday.

Mr Patnekar visited Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) where former Defense Minister has been admitted for treatment and later informed the media personnel that the Goa Chief Minister would celebrate the coming festival in his state only.

BJP MLA said “It was very nice to see our Chief Minister after such a long time. He has assured me that he will be celebrating this Diwali (in November) in Goa and he will be arriving in his state soon.”

Till the last week, it was reported that the health of Goa Chief Minister has been constantly declining, BJP MLA and Goa Legislative Assembly Michael Lobo said that the unhealthy BJP leader was facing the hearing problem and many other issues. He added that everyone was praying for the improvement in his health as no positive changes had been observed till  October 5.

Goa Chief Minister has been facing severe health issues since last eight months and has been in hospitals of Goa, Mumbai, New York and Delhi for the treatment of advanced pancreatic cancer.

Mr Parrikar was diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer in February this year.

Not many information has been shared about the health of the Chief minister through any sources. The Chief Minister’s office has been sharing about the improvements in the health of the state’s Chief minister through the informal way.

The oppositions have been demanding for the resignation of chief minister as he was not able to deliver his duties due to severe health issues.

Dr Manohar Gopalkrishna Prabhu Parrikar is an India Politician who is serving as Chief Minister of Goa since March 2017. The BJP leader has also served the state as Chief Minister of Goa from 2000 to 2005 and from 2012 to 2014.
