Union Minister of Telecommunication, Manoj Sinha seems to be the strongest candidate for the Chief Minister’s chair. Manoj Sinha is also the choice of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the President of BJP Amit Shah.
There is an MLA meet that is to take place in Lucknow tomorrow. The agenda of the meeting is the discussion on the selection of state Chief Minister. The meeting is scheduled at 8:00 PM on Saturday.
According to sources, Keshav Prasad Maurya would suggest electing Manoj Sinha for the position of Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Manoj Sinha also has the supports of Bhupendra Yadav and Venkaiah Naidu. Both the politicians are going to suggest Manoj Sinha’s name to Amit Shah.
Bhupendra Yadav and M Venkaiah Naidu will oversee the meeting of legislators and will also play the role of the central observers.
