Until 6 PM, 74.61 percent polling has been noticed in Madhya Pradesh and figures could rise further. While in the year 2013, 72.69 percent turnout was recorded during Assembly elections which was two percent less than from 2018.

In response to the breakdown of the  EVM  machines during voting in Madhya Pradesh today, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said, “The Election Commission must take responsibility to ensure that these EVM machines function properly.”

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan condoles at the death of the three polling officials that were on election duty in the state.
