On Wednesday 29th of August, jet airways declared that they are going to start 28 more flights including daily services from the sectors Indore to Jodhpur and Vadodara from the month of October.  One of the officials of the Airline said that the destination they are starting to operate is between Lucknow, Ahmedabad and Jodhpur and as well as Vadodara and Jaipur. Jet Airways Declared that it would be launching 28 new flights in the coming month. The increase in flights is due to the services that would facilitate the mounting demand for domestic and international air travel in these rising cities.

The Jet Airways is the only flight carrier who operates on such routes of those connecting Indore with Jodhpur and Vadodara. Among other routes, the airline would start non-stop flights between the sectors Bengaluru and Lucknow, Indore-Kolkata, Kolkata-Chandigarh, and Coimbatore- Hyderabad.

The announcement was made after two days when the airline reported a ₹1323 crore loss in the first quarter of this financial year.

The Airline will also commence additional frequencies on the active routes between Mumbai and Guwahati, and Delhi and Bagdogra. It will also offer additional one-stop connectivity on the routes like Mumbai-Bagdogra and Delhi-Guwahati.

The newly added sectors such as Indore-Vadodara and Indore-Jodhpur would rouse business activities and encourage more travel opportunity, specifically for all the small and medium ventures established in and around the cities Vadodara and Jodhpur, according to the release by the Airline.

The senior vice president of Jet Airways (Worldwide Sales & Distribution), Raj Sivakumar said that the new flights added frequencies and greater capacity across the sectors are expected to recommend guests with additional choice and connectivity. “This will also benefit SMEs as well as corporate travellers who will be able to enjoy day-return flights,” he added. The Airline Currently has a fleet of 121 planes.
