As confirmed by Los Angeles Police Department, the Jersey Shore star, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, was arrested on 22 April. The star has been put behind the bars in the charges of intimate partner violence with injury. The police arrested Ronnie in the coastal Playa del Rey section of Los Angeles
Ronnie was booked at 4:15 pm, and is currently on probation for another domestic violence case involving his ex-girlfriend Jen Harley.
A source close to Jen has told that Jen was not involved in all this and that she was in Las Vegas when Ronnie was arrested. Ronnie and Jen have a daughter named Ariana, who was with Ronnie at the time of the incident. Later, she was sent with her brother, and now she has been re-united with her mother Jen.
Ronnie’s attorney commented on the case saying, “We have just learned of the new allegations against Ronnie and need some additional time to further investigate. As such, we will not be making any other statements at this time.”
According to Los Angeles Police District Attorney’s Office, In May 2020 “the MTV reality personality reached an agreement and pled no contest to one count of domestic battery and one count of resisting arrest. He was given 36 months of probation.”
As per the fresh updates, Ronnie has been bailed for an amount set at $100,000.
Jen and Ronnie’s chaotic relationship has been in news quite a few times. Ronnie, on the other hand, has already many cases against him, and this one adds to his trouble as he is currently on Probation. One of the highly heated incident between the couple happened in 2019, when a 911 call was made regarding a battery incident in progress at a Los Angeles home. After that, it was confirmed by the authorities they had to use Taser on Ronnie. He was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence and kidnapping.
