Intex has finally announced its successor to the Aqua Ace at a much cheaper price. The company has launched the new smartphone, Aqua Ace II just after its listing on the official website. The handset will be available for sale with a price tag of Rs. 8,999, which is Rs. 4,000 less than its elder brother, Intex Aqua Ace.
The Intex Aqua Ace II claims to feature 80 percent screen-to-body ratio with a 5-inch HD IPS display offering 720×1280 pixels of resolution and 294ppi pixel density. It is powered by a 1.3GHz 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735V/W processor coupled with 3GB RAM DDR3 boosts the phone functioning. The Aqua Ace II comes with a 16GB inbuilt-storage (with 12GB for personal uses) and can be expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card.
Running on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box, the Ace carries an 8-megapixel of rear camera with 4P Lens, aperture f/2.0 and dual-tone LED flash. While, it boasts a 5-megapixel of front-facing image shooter with aperture f/2.4.
The dual-SIM smartphone gets its juice from a 3000 mAh battery. In addition, the connectivity options of this device include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G, GPS/A-GPS, and Micro-USB connectivity. The Aqua Ace II measures 45.3x72x8.65mm and weighs 149 grams. The device also comes packed with MHL support, letting users mirror the smartphone screen onto their television sets using the MHL cable.

The older version, the Aqua Ace was launched in September, last year with almost same specifications. The only difference being a lower 2300mAh battery and sporting a 13-megapixel rear camera.
