Recently announced flagship Nexus device by LG, Nexus 5X received a heavy price cut in India. The smartphone is now available at as low as Rs. 24, 573 via e-commerce websites. The slashed price is eight thousand lesser than its launching price tag i.e. Rs. 31,990, at which the handset is still listed on the official online store.
Analysts suggest that the online sellers including Amazon and Flipkart are retailing the Nexus 5X at a discounted price, due the faded response. It is currently available at a price of Rs. 25,900 and Rs. 25,249, respectively. The former is retailing the 32GB variant at Rs. 32,875 and the latter at Rs. 31,990, which is almost Rs. 4000 off against the introductory price i.e. Rs. 35,990.
On specifications front, the LG Nexus 5X runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow supported by a 1.8GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC paired with a 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM. It comes in 16GB and 32GB storage variants.
The handset flaunts a 5.2-inch full-HD display with 1080×1920 pixel of resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. And as far photography is concerned, the smartphone features a 12.3-megapixel primary camera with f/2.0 aperture and 4K and slow motion (120fps) video recording. While, for selfie obsessed users LG has fronted the Nexus phone with a 5-megapixel of user-facing camera with HDR+ and a f/2.0 aperture. Also, it is packed with a 2700mAh battery, which is featured with the Quick Charge Technology that allows the users to use the handset up to 3.8 hours by charging it for 10 minutes.
Earlier, the launching price and the specs weren’t satisfying the Indian consumers as the other top players like Motorola and OnePlus are offering much more in less. However, the massively slashing down the prices could ignite the heat of sales around the country.
