NEW DELHI: Recently, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj organized a meeting with the President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in. As per the sources a positive discussion has been made between the leaders of both the countries and discussions were even made regarding maintaining the partnership by expanding their alignments in several other sectors as well.
“Shared commitment to values of democracy, open society, and liberal international order! EAM Sushma Swaraj called on President of the Republic of Korea, Moon Jae-in,” he tweeted.
Besides this, on his visit to India South Korean President Moon Jae-in visited Samsung plant in Noida (Uttar Pradesh) and was followed by Prime Minister Modi.
Mr. Modi and the South Korean President in order to increase the relationships and expanding the knot between the countries inaugurated the world’s largest mobile phone factory in Noida. This new Samsung Electronics facility inaugurated by both of the leaders holds the capacity to manufacture more than 120 million mobile phones per year.
Besides this, Both the leaders attended the India-Korea Business Forum and also visited the Gandhi Smriti.
Such a step taken by the PM Modi and the South Korea President by the inauguration of this new unit which will be the world’s largest mobile phone factory ever will not only bring jobs to the country but will also help in bringing down the costs of the company’s mobile phones as well. This will also help the manufacturing sector of the country and will bring a rise in the economy of the country
Besides this, a number of agreements were also signed between both the leaders.
The visiting President also meet President Ram Nath Kovind while Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu will call on the Korean President.
Moon Jae-in during his visit to India with her wife also made a visit to Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple on Sunday evening.
