On Sunday, the Ruling party president Amit Shah said that the motive of Congress is only to provide services to their family dynasty and they do not care to provide services to the public. Amit Shah also hit out the Congress after Prime Minister Narendra Modi challenged Congress to appoint someone as a head of the party who is not connected with the Gandhi family.
Amit Shah criticized the opposition party leaders, including the former Finance Minister P Chidambaram who recalled a lot of other party president hailing from outside the Gandhi family. Many countries are trying hard to prove their loyalty against the challenge given by Prime Minister Modi, Shah said in tweets.
On Friday, in an election rally which was organized in Chhattisgarh, Modi challenged the opposition party by saying that if the Congress will appoint someone like a president for at least five years who is not from the Gandhi family then it would be a clear indicator that democratic system exists in the opposition party.
Amit Shah tweeted that all of us have been agreeing on the Prime Minister’s statement. Since the inception of the Congress party in 1978 it was led by four members of one family for most of the years, hence it is proved that it is more of a family business now and its motive is to provide services to the family dynastic rather than providing services to the Public.
And if we talk about the two former chiefs of congress they were never treated in an appropriate manner by the party leaders, Shah alleged. As after the death of the P V Narasimha Rao, his last rituals were not performed by the Congress party inside their office, and the other greatest leader Sitaram Kesri was also treated ill-mannered, he added.
During the rally in Chhattisgarh on Sunday, Modi also accused the opposition that the party forced the Sitaram Kesri and asked to resign as a chief so that Sonia Gandhi can take his position in the party.
