Madhya Pradesh, where assembly election is going to start soon, each and every step taken by the political parties is very crucial and closely judged by the media and other opposition political parties. So when Congress President Rahul Gandhi visited to an ice cream parlour in Indore and said “Kamal, ice cream achhi hai”, after this the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan who is already annoyed with Rahul Gandhi’s false allegation on his son saying he was also involved in Panama Papers, asked that is this the way to address somebody who is senior to you.
On Tuesday, after a very busy day of campaigning in Madhya Pradesh, the Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi visited the most popular place named 56 Dukan along with two very senior leaders of Congress Kamal Nath and Jyotiraditya Scindia.
Rahul Gandhi said that “Kamal, ice cream bohat achi hai tum bhi khao (Kamal, ice cream is really very good, you should also have it)”, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan did not like it when Rahul Gandhi addressed a senior leader of BJP Kamal Nath by his name. Shivraj Singh said that Kamal Nath has worked with his father Rajiv Gandhi and that was the time when Rahul Gandhi was not even introduced to politics. He added that this is not the appropriate way to address a man by his name that is 70-75 years old. However, Shivraj Chauhan’s son Kartikey has filed a defamation case against the president of Congress Mr. Rahul Gandhi for alleging his name marked in Panama Papers.
Later on, Rahul Gandhi has given an explanation that he was claiming the name of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh’s son and not Shivraj’s son Kartikeya. Even after giving an explanation Rahul Gandhi accused BJP Government and said that he got confused because there were a huge number of scams marked under the BJP government.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said when Rahul Gandhi made a false accusation on me and my son, press media asked him for pieces of evidence. Later on, he denied the allegations as he got confused. Chauhan said, “I just want to ask you that if this way you keep getting confused then how you will rule the nation.”
