Narsinghpur: On Monday, Bharatiya Janata Party chief Amit Shah targeted Congress and its president, Rahul Gandhi. Shah while addressing a rally in Narsinghpur in Madhya Pradesh said that Congress is suffering from ‘Modi-Phobia’.

BJP President Amit Shah is addressing rallies in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh. In one of the rallies in Narsinghpur, Shah accused Rahul Gandhi of mentioning PM Modi’s name 44 times in a 22-minute speech. He said that Rahul Gandhi has developed a phobia against PM Modi that is why he is chanting PM Modi’s name in almost all his rallies. In some of his rallies, it looks like he is campaigning for BJP rather than Congress, the BJP chief added.

While addressing the campaign rally in Narsinghpur, Shah asked the people here that who would you choose amongst Congress or BJP, where BJP has given cooking gas, houses, power and roads. Shah also mentioned many of the NDA schemes, including Ladli Laxmi Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, Make in India and others during his speech.

Shah then asked the electorates to vote in the favour of chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in the state. He also reverberated the new slogan in the rally, ‘Abki Baar -200 Paar’.

“At Narsinghpur alone, we brought 3.76 lakh hectare land under irrigation, offered 1.16 lakh Soil Health Cards, offered 31,600 power connections, built toilets in 131000 homes, offered houses to 36,000 families and provided 76,000 cooking gas connections and the Congress asks us to offer details of works,” Shah elaborated on the BJP’s achievements.

“UPA had allotted a budget of Rs 1,34,000 crore while the BJP hiked it to Rs 3,44,000 crore. Rahul Baba is daydreaming of forming the Madhya Pradesh government,” Shah said.

Amidst his speech, Shah not only targeted the UPA government regarding the development in the country but he also took over it regarding allowing terrorists intrude freely in the country. He said that when 12 army jawans were killed in Uri attack, PM Modi ordered a surgical strike within ten days.

At the end of his speech at the event, Shah lauded Shivraj government for building 83,000 primary schools and 30,000 middle schools. He also conveyed that BJP in MP made a noticeable increase in engineering colleges from 104 to 306 during his tenure.
