Hyderabad: On Saturday, Bhartiya Janta Party(BJP) in Telangana released a charge sheet against the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). The charge sheet released by the BJP targeted caretaker Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao as he failed to fulfil the promises that he made earlier to the people of the state.
Regarding the concern, TS BJP president Dr K. Laxman said that the charge sheet has been placed by the party in the public domain for a trial of the ruling party in the people’s court.
Our news sources have revealed that in the 11-page charge sheet which has been filed against Mr Rao, Bhartiya Janta Party has made more than 130 accusations regarding failure to fulfil the promises made by him earlier to the people of the Telangana state. These 130 accusations included failure in resolving Dalit issues and unemployment, and not constructing the promised 2BHK houses for them.
Besides this, accusations regarding inefficiency in irrigation, power, health and local bodies are also filed against Mr Rao by the Bhartiya Janta Party. Mr Rao is also accused of not implementing the Centre’s Ayushman Bharat scheme, Excise, tourism IT/industrial sector and socio-economic, reorganisation of districts, and farmers’ issue amongst others issues as well.
Dr Laxman further accused Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao of not going to the Secretariat and had encouraged defections. Mr Rao neither found it necessary to visit Kondagattu where a bus accident took lives of more than 60 people, TS BJP president Dr K. Laxman asserted.
Adding more to the accusation part, Dr K. Laxman further added that Mr Rao also failed to fulfil the promises that he made regarding the establishment of urban infrastructure with a specific focus on north Telangana districts of Karimnagar, Warangal and Adilabad.
During the release of the charge sheet against the TRS government, several leaders including MLA G. Kishan Reddy were present at the time.
