Bajaj Auto has extended its Pulsar lineup through the launch of a new variant. Baja Pulsar 150 Classic is the new addition in this lineup. The company has given the name ‘Classic’ because of all black color components. The company has made it available in only the black color. Also, the bike has released in Maharashtra. However, the company plans to launch this variant in other states also. The main aim behind the launch of this variant is to make the access of this bike easy for all classes of people. Here, it is worth mentioning that the company had launched Bajaj Pulsar back in April. This ‘150 Classic’ variant is inferior to the original Pulsar variant. Thus, the company has priced it at Rs.67,634. This shows a significant difference of about Rs. 10,120 in price.

This new variant does not come with dual discs, vinyls, tank extensions, and split seats. However, the company has not changed the power strain of the bike. It features the same 149cc single-cylinder engine. It can produce 14hp at 8,000 rpm and 13.4Nm of torque at 6000 rpm. It also features 5-speed transmission. There is 240mm disc brake at the front and 130mm drum unit at the back. The company has not equipped this new variant with ABS brakes. Bajaj Pulsar 150 Classic will compete Hero Glamour and Hero Achiever. These two bikes are already available in the Indian market.

Bajaj Pulsar 150 Classic is the second most affordable motorbike in the country. Also, this bike is one of the most liked bikes in Indian youth. The company has extended its usage by bringing this inferior variant in the market. The experts are also of the view that it will also give a tough time to Honda Unicorn.
