Baba Ramdev brought good news for the Indians on Sunday. His Patanjali is entering into a new partnership. This partnership will benefit the Indians in the telecom sector. Here, it is worth mentioning that Patanjali is a consumer company. It is selling the variety of products. These include Ayurvedic, medicine, food, home care, and healthcare products. The company is selling these products through their offline retail stores. These products are also available through e-commerce retailers like Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm, and the company’s own e-commerce platform.

Patanjali has announced a new partnership on Sunday. It is going to partner with BSNL to make a mark in the telecom sector. BSNL is a state-owned telecom company offering telecom services across the country. Patanjali and BSNL have launched a new SIM card “Swadeshi Samriddhi”. At present, this SIM card is available only for BSNL employees. But, the company plans to extend its operations for all the people in the near future. The users will enjoy a recharge package on this new SIM. They will get 2GB data, unlimited calls, and 100 SMS’s on a recharge of Rs.144. The company has said nothing about the validity of this offer. But, we can hope that the offer will be valid for 28 or 30 days.

Patanjali is also offering accidental and death insurance plans on this new SIM. The users will enjoy medical insurance of 2.5 lakh in case of road accidents. The death claims of insurance are 5 lakh. These SIM cards are available on all the 75 lakh counters of BSNL. The users can activate the SIM through simple identity verification. Both the companies seem happy on this partnership. BSNL says that this the cheapest ever package on BSNL network. This partnership will grow customer database of Patanjali.
