Bharti Airtel is swiftly expanding their 4G service in India and has launched the services in about 296 towns last year. Now the company has launched its 4G LTE services in Goa.
The residents of Goa can easily upgrade to 4G services by immediate SIM swap and home delivery services. Barely being three months into 2016, the company has announced the acquisition of Videocon 4G airwaves in six circles. Bharti Airtel has a number of entertainment services on offer under its brand Wynk.
The company expects to fend-off competition with strategies related to subscriber churn and emphasizing on the untapped market.
At the launch Ashok Ganapathy Hub CEO, Mumbai, Maharashtra, Goa and Gujarat, Bharti Airtel (India) said “We at Bharti Airtel are extremely pleased to introduce the superfast 4G services to our customers in Goa. As an increasing number of Indians have shown a preference for consuming data and content over their mobile devices, we want our existing customers to be the first ones to enjoy the 4G experience at 3G prices”
With the 4G services provided by the company the customers scattered across the state can encounter high-speed wireless broadband on Airtel and get on the digital highway. The 4G service launch of Bharti Airtel in Goa is a part of the ‘Project Leap’ a 600 billion rupees network transformation started by Airtel in November 2015.
Under its ‘Project Leap’, Airtel plans to deploy over 70,000 base stations in the fiscal year to March 2016 and in the next three years to build up 160,000 base stations.
The company previously has launched a new range of Infinity Plans beginning from Rs. 999 inheriting the features like unlimited voice calls, roaming on mobile, 4G data and access to Wynk Movies and Wynk Music.
The customers with the smartphone with 4G LTE support can easily upgrade to the 4G SIM available at the Airtel retail points or head over to the Airtel’s official website, airtel.in/4g to request for swapping the 4G SIM.
