Friday in China, Xiaomi announced a new product for their Ecosystem – MiJIA, a 3-axis shooting stabilizer for smartphones. This, indeed, added a new feather to their hat. This product has launched at CNY 799 (roughly Rs. 7500) and available via Mi Home Crowdfunding Platform.

This 3-axis stabilizer will give a tough competition to the same segment product DJI’s Osmo Mobile. Based on three axis technology, both the devices offer great performance and precisions. Mi claims their device is more precise with advanced technology and an acceleration sensor. It can measure the position of the smartphone on the space.

This device offers four shooting modes – horizontal movement, Omni-directional movement, locking direction and vertical mode. This device offers a great space-angle aspect to keep your mobile in perfect position. This helps the user to snap a great picture.

About the build quality, this device has a one piece telescope folding storage device made of ABS fiberglass materials. It also has a brush-less motor holding. This motor can rotate from 9 degrees to 30 degrees for a 270-degree distortion free rotation. This mechanism offers you a great slow motion video.

The dimension of this device is 266 X 43 X 43mm and weighs about 450 grams including battery. So, it is very light in weight to hold either on hand or mount on any tripod. It gives a lighter feel from its competitor DJI’s Osmo Mobile. The height of this device can be shortened to 206 mm to make it easy to carry.

According to Xiaomi, this device can work up to 4 hours with its 1050mAh battery. Xiaomi still didn’t claim anything about international market availability.
