As per the rumors, this new technology has given the manufacturer the freedom to make the smartphone lighter.

Reportedly, Vivo is going to be the first smartphone company which is successfully placing the optical fingerprint sensor beneath the display. There is a leaked video for this upcoming device showing the Vivo X9 plus. It is showing smartphone in action with no dedicated fingerprint sensor at the usual places like front and back and the guy on the video is unlocking the device just by touching the display. This video is adding a new level on the rumors of beneath display fingerprint sensor.

Some of the industry analysts suggest that if rumors appear to be true, then Vivo X9 Plus will be the first smartphone holding the fingerprint sensor under the display panel. In this matter, Vivo will be the first device in tech industry beating Apple iPhone 8 also.

Vivo is planning to launch a much-awaited smartphone at the MWC Shanghai, end of the month. Regarding the other specifications, if rumors come true, this device will have a 5.8–inch full HD display. There will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor coupled with 6 GB RAM under the hood to power this device. On the camera department, Vivo X9 Plus will sport a dual 20 MP camera at the rear and 8 MP camera at the front.
