Reliance Jio is the telecom service provider that has created a great revolution in the world of Internet. Now, there are reports that the company is going to launch a new service ‘Jio Fiber’ near Diwali. This launch will once again stir the other service providers and increase the competition. There is no official statement from the company sources about the exact launch date. But, we can hope that it could launch in October at the Diwali festival. Earlier, the chairman Mukesh Ambani announced the launch of this service in some selected cities. Now, his daughter Isha Ambani has tweeted that Jio will offer 100GB data for Rs. 500. She further has said that the service will launch in 100 cities by Diwali. She has also claimed that the speed of this service would be 1Gbps.

Here, it is pertinent to mention that the company has already started the testing services in some cities. The users of those cities tell that they are getting 70Mbps to 100Mbps speed. We can say that the Jio Fiber users in those cities will taste the real speed of 1Gbps first. Since the launch of its 4G services, the company is offering competitive rates and packages to increase its customer database. Thus, people are hopeful to get this Jio Fiber at an affordable price. The users will have to pay Rs. 4500 refundable security fee to get connection and router. After that, they will enjoy the lightning fast speed in Rs. 500.
This will prove a great challenge for other service providers and force them to revise their tariffs.
