On Wednesday, Samsung launched its flagship smartphones Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ in India. The preorders of these phones have begun, and availability is ensured on 5th May. Various telecom companies are offering different packages to attract more and more customers. It is the age of the internet, and customers get attracted more towards data bundle offers. Reliance Jio is one of those telecom companies that have offered data packages to their customers with the purchase of Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.
Samsung will launch these phones at the price tags of Rs.57, 900 and Rs.64, 900 respectively. Earlier, Samsung has confirmed that the device in other parts of the world except America will have Exynos 8895 chipset. The devices are already a lot attractive due to their high-end specs and the data offer from Reliance Jio has made it more lucrative.
Get 448GB Data from Jio
Reliance jio has announced data plan for its prime customers on the purchase of this high-end device. The company has confirmed that the users will get 448GB of free data on a recharge of Rs.309 for eight months. It means users will get 2GB 4G data on a daily basis. Earlier, the subscribers are enjoying 1GB 4G data (Dhana Dhan Offer) on the recharge of Rs.309 for three months. But now, the data plan announced is double for Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ users. All the subscribers, purchasing this device soon after availability, will enjoy this data offer till January 2018. This offer is not valid for non-prime customers.
Specs wise, both these devices have 64GB of internal storage paired with 4GB of RAM. The screen size and battery capacity are a bit different. Galaxy S8 has a 5.8-inch screen powered by 3000mAh battery, and Galaxy S8+ has a 6.2-inch display supported with 3500mAh battery. Cameras on both the devices are the same and are 13MP back and an 8MP front facing. Both these devices have various new features to enhance security and performance. Iris scanner and Bixby are among the top rated features.
