India is the country where mobile internet is becoming cheap and affordable with every passing day. Reliance Jio is the telecom operator who initiated this trend in September 2016. The company has launched a number of data packages so far. Due to its cheap data packages, the company has grown its customers’ database to about 120 million. Even the customers from other networks started switch to the Reliance Jio network. Thus, all the other telecom operators have to join the party by launching cheap data and voice bundles. They have introduced many cheap packages to compete with Reliance Jio and to attract the new users. Two days ago, Reliance Jio announced two more packages to extend its customers database.
Airtel and BSNL have already launched cheap voice and data packages to give Reliance Jio a tough time. Now, another telecom operator Aircel has also joined the competition. Aircel has also launched a very cheap data and voice bundle to retain its existing customers and also to attract the new ones. It has given its customers 84GB of data with a cap of 1GB data per day with a validity of 84 days. It means that the Aircel customers are going to enjoy the 84GB of data for 84 days on a recharge of Rs. 348. There are also unlimited local and STD calls available on this package without any daily or weekly limits. The customers can enjoy voice calling to all the networks in the country for free under this offer.
Although, this offer seems very close to Reliance Jio’s Dhan Dhana Dhan offer of Rs. 399, yet there are a lot of differences. Reliance Jio is offering the 84GB of 4G data while Aircel offers 84GB of 3G data. It means the Jio customers are likely to enjoy the blazing fast speed internet and unlimited voice calls. Reliance Jio has also increased the validity of this offer to 84 days. It means Jio customers are already enjoying the 84GB of data for 84 days at a recharge of Rs. 399. Another difference is the network coverage. Reliance Jio is offering its packages in numerous cities while Aircel has offered this new bundle in Eastern UP.
Airtel has already Rs. 349 and Rs. 399 plans to compete with Reliance Jio. We hope that many new plans would be launched in the near future by all the companies. This would bring a great change in the lives of Indian peoples.
