Tamil ‘Iru Mugan’, Telugu ‘Inkokkadu’ movie public review and box office earnings

Iru Mugan aka Inkokkadu is a bilingual Science fiction thriller film in Tamil and Telegu which releasing Thursday, September 8, 2016. The Tamil version is titled “Iru Mugan” and it is the second directional venture of Anand Shankar, and Shibu Thameens is the producer of the flick. NKR Films producer Neelam Krishna has the rights to the Telegu version.

The film stars the phenomenal actor Vikram who is in the industry for the last 20 years. The 50-year-old actor never fails to surprise and has played a variety of roles which has always endeared to his fans. With every film, he yearns to do bigger and better roles in Telegu, Hindi, and Malayalam films.

The flick is touted to be a Sci-Fi thriller, and the storyline has not been revealed by the makers. The story will be known only after the first screening.

The music has been composed by Harris Jayaraj, and the audio was launched on August 17th, 2016.It was well received well by the audience.

Audience reaction/review

Before the introduction of the audio of the movie, the producers released a video song titled ‘Halena’ and have been topping the charts. The flick has five songs.

The rushes of the movie were also released on August 17th and were received well by both critics and the audience and had 62,294 views on the YouTube.

CineGalaxy Inc is distributing the film in the US and has stated that the buzz around the flick is extraordinarily positive. The film is being released across 80 screens in the US. The film will feature some superb and unconventional action scenes which are a feature of all Vikram movies.

The flick has Vikram playing a dual role of an intelligence officer named Akhilan as well as an eccentric scientist the violent antagonist with feminine traits.

The film also stars Nayanthara and Nithya Menen along with Nassar, Thambi Ramaiah, Bala, Karunakaran and others in supporting roles and the film is produced by Thameens Films.
