Even before the official release of Baar Baar Dekho, producers Excel Entertainment and Dharma Productions have managed to capture maximum screen numbers in several multiplexes. In fact, Sangam Cinemas has listed 11 shows per day for Baar Baar Dekho.
Directed by the debutant Nitya Mehra, the photography session was started on August 28, 2015, in Glasgow, Scotland and went for over a month. The shooting continued in parts of Delhi and Mumbai. However, the shooting migrated to Krabi, Thailand for a week from February 22.
Initially titled as Kal Jisne Dekha, Baar Baar Dekho reportedly is based on an aging romance spanning 30 odd years.
