The company launched Reliance Jio in September 2016. It has provided people with ultra low-cost 4G packages across the country. Due to these low-cost packages, India has joined the list of top data consuming countries in the world. The company is also working on mobile broadband service in various cities of the country. It has become the biggest service provider of broadband connections in India.

Mukesh Ambani has also changed its industry from Oil and Gas to Telecommunication. This change in business line has changed the lives of people. On entering the telecom sector, the company offered free data bundles, calls, messages and content for six months. But now, the company has made its internet bundles and SMSs paid.

To give Reliance Jio a tough time, Idea and Vodafone have joined hands. They have now transformed into the largest telecom operators. Similarly, Airtel has taken over the charge of Telenor’s operations in the country.
