Trinamool congress and their ally political parties cries foul for the presence of Army personnel at toll plazas ‘in various parts’ of West Bengal in both Houses of Parliament.  The chief minister of WB Ms. Mamta Banerjee expressed shocked over Army deployment was in “clear violation of the Constitution” and a bid to “create a civil war like situation in the country.”

However, defense minister of India Mr. Manohar Parrikar clarifies in the parliament that such kind of issue is a routine exercise and it is nothing but a political frustration. He also reiterated that no need to politicize such issues.

The TMC Supremo Ms. Mamta Banerjee spent last night at Nabanna, the state secretariat protesting against the presence of Army personnel at the toll plaza. She protested over the presence of Army outside Nabanna. She also said that I am staying here to safeguard the democracy.

The WB chief minister Mamta Banerjee also cries foul over the incident of Wednesday night, the aircraft carrying her was made to hover over Kolkata despite being low on fuel. However airline major Indigo clarifies that the air traffic controller “misunderstood” that the plane was low on fuel after the pilot radioed that the aircraft had eight minutes of extra holding fuel over Kolkata. Despite the clarification by Indigo, TMC were not satisfied.

The leader of the party Sudip Bandhopadhyay stated that such kind of incident is very serious and the government has continued harassed his leader and her life is in great danger. He doubted that such kind of incident has been plotted against his leader. He wanted the clarification from Defense Minister on army deployment in Bengal. We will raise this again in again in both the houses. He also doubted that some kind of emergency is going to be proclaimed in the state.
