Check Mahresult.nic.in for Maharashtra SSC supplementary results 2016

On Tuesday the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) declared the results of SSC supplementary examination. The result of the reappearing students was declared on the official website mahresult.nic.in. The pass percentage for the exam was 27.97 percent. The board conducted the main examination between February 18 and March 28, 2016, in which 13,88,467 student appeared overall.

The exam held by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education also conducts the HSC in the state. The examination is held in nine divisional boards located at Pune, Aurangabad, Nasik, Kolhapur, Mumbai, Nagpur, Ratnagiri, Latur and Amravati.

Here are the following steps to check the result online

  • The first step is to go to the official website
  • Click on the ‘SSC Examination Result July 2016.’
  • Then enter the roll number and other relevant information and click on the submit button
  • Once result appears on the screen check the result
  • Download the copy and take out the print of the result

Girls outshone the boys

For the exam held in July 2016, 1,43,897 students appeared for the exam out of which 1,42,968 students appeared for the supplementary exam. The girls have outperformed boys as they scored a pass percentage of 30.79 percent while the boys only achieved the average 26.67 percent. Out of the total, as many as 39,994 has passed the SSC supplementary examination.

According to data present, a total of 6997 students passed the exam from Mumbai while 6204 students cleared the additional exam from Pune.
