The story of the film is about a newly married couple. The wife leaves her husband because she does not find a toilet in his house. She asks him to build a toilet in his home; otherwise, she would not come back again. The film also highlights one of the main reasons for rapes in the country. It narrates that defecating in open places is one of the major reason for increasing rape cases in the country. Thus, the film stresses on a building of toilets inside the house to avoid any mishap. Also, defecating outside in open places causes a lot of diseases due to poor sanitation of the defecation.
The film has earned Rs 63.45 crores in first four days after the release. The fifth day which is a holiday will mark a 50% growth in revenue than the fourth day. This is because people are more fervent due to Independence Day and will rush to cinemas for refreshment. The film has earned Rs 13.10 crores on an opening day. The second day earned Rs.17.10 crores. The Sunday which was the third day marked 21.25 crores. The Monday showed a decline to 12 crores but the fifth day will again boom the revenue to double than the fourth day.
Twinkle Khanna and Akshay are very happy with the business the film is doing. It may break the records of Akshay’s earlier film Rustom which had earned Rs 90 crores in the first week.
