0

Reliance has officially made its Jio Preview Offer available for ASUS and Panasonic smartphones. Till now, the 90-day free usage offer was applicable for LG and Samsung devices. Only 4G mobiles supporting VoLTE are eligible for the offer. There have also been speculations that every VoLTE smartphone will be able to get the Jio Preview offer irrespective of its manufacturer. This has not yet been confirmed by Reliance though.

Reliance Jio Preview Offer

The Reliance Jio Preview Offer comes with a number of benefits which are very intimidating. You will get unlimited HD Voice and Video Calling, unlimited messaging, unlimited high speed 4G internet and various other premium applications of Jio like JioOnDemand, JioMags, JioDrive, JioMoney, JioPlay, JioBeats, JioXpressNews and JioSecurity.

All these will be available absolutely free of cost for a period of three months or 90 days from the date of activation of your Reliance Jio SIM card. The offer is applicable both for Prepaid and Post-paid connection types.

How to activate the Jio Preview Offer

To get the offer you need to download the company’s MyJio application from the Playstore and proceed with the instructions mentioned in the app. Alternatively, you may also carry your eligible smartphone to the nearest Reliance brand store to get the offers activated. Don’t forget to carry the necessary documents like a couple of passport sized photographs and a photo-ID proof which are required for purchasing a SIM.

Even though Reliance hasn’t launched the Jio commercially in India, there is already a huge user base of more than 2.5 million people. This is mainly due to the Jio Preview Offer and the company’s extensive beta testing both internally and externally. Other 4G providers in the country like Vodafone, idea and Airtel thinks that Reliance is using unfair way to divert customers towards Jio.

The Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) has even appealed to the government suggesting that Reliance is delaying the commercial launch to cheat on taxes. COAI claims that the company is diverting the profit acquired by selling the LYF range of smartphones to the Jio cellular division. This is enabling the company to provide its services for free.
